How to get to Brody

Attention do not forget your passport, there are occasional checks at the border!

The festival pass is valid from 2 pm on the first booked day until 4 pm the following day. So please always arrive from 14 clock.

The train station closest to Brody is in the German town of Forst (Lusatia). This border town is 17 km away from brody. Trains run every hour from Berlin Hauptbahnhof to Forst.
The journey takes two hours and the fare is about 15 Euros. If you buy a Brandenburg-Ticket for 30 Euros, up to five passangers can go on one ticket. This way the price for each person can be reduced down to 6 Euros.
Once you are in Forst, we recommend that you take a taxi. We have negotiated a fixed price of 25 Euros with the company Taxi8086. Call them about half an hour before arriving at Forst (03562/8086). They provide share taxis for up to eight passengers.

There is light duty in Poland! So always turn on the light!

If you travel by car from Germany, you best use the A 15 route. Take exit 7 (Forst) and follow the instructions below:

Exit 7, direction Forst, follow B112 for 2,8 km.
When you get to a roundabout, take the first exit (Spremberger Straße/B112, direction Polish border), follow this road for about 2 km. There's another roundabout on this stretch which you pass going straight.
At the next junction with traffic lights (there's a Kaufland shopping center at the corner), keep going straight into Frankfurter Straße Do not follow the main road to Poland!
After about 600 m, once you have passed a nursing home (Pflegezentrum) to your right, turn right into Virchowstraße.
After 150 m turn left into Gubener Straße.
Keep going straight for about 2 km, then turn right into route 289. You're now crossing the border.
Follow this road for about 4 km until you get to a roundabout. Take the third exit towards Lubsko.
Follow this road (still 289) for about 9 km.
Once you are in Brody, turn left through an archway into ul. Wolności.
After 200 m turn left. Brühl palace is now right ahead of you.
