Terms & Conditions & Privacy Policy for Events
With your registration to an event of TangoSafari e.V. (TS e.V. for short) you accept the following conditions of participation and have taken note of the data protection guidelines:

§ 1 Registration, confirmation of registration
- Registrations for events must always be received in writing via online registration, unless otherwise stated in the invitation or announcement for the event.
- Registrations will be processed according to the date of receipt. A confirmation of registration will be sent by e-mail with a request for payment corresponding to the available capacities.
- The registration is binding upon payment of the open contributions.
- The organizer reserves the right to make changes, e.g. to replace the change of announced teachers by others and to make necessary changes to the event program while preserving the overall character of the event.
§ 2 Description of services & change of services
- The services result from the description of the event on our website. We reserve the right to make changes for objectively justified reasons.
- Minor changes are permitted if the character of the event does not suffer as a result.
- Should a teacher be unable to attend, we will arrange for an adequate replacement.
§ 3 Participation fees and invoice
- The attendance fee is per business event date. It includes the services listed in the booking confirmation.
- In the case of events subject to a fee, no value-added tax will be charged on the basis of the exemption regulation pursuant to § 4 no. 22 letter a UStG..
- In the case of events subject to a charge, the invoice will be sent to the billing address indicated after receipt of the booking and checking of the capacities.
- Arrivals must be organised, booked and paid for by the participants themselves.
§ 4 Cancellation, Cancellation, Reimbursement of Participation Fees
- Cancellation by the participant up to eight weeks before the start of the festival will incur a processing fee of 50 €.
- In case of cancellation by the participant less than 4 weeks before the start of the festival, 50% of the participation fee and 30% of the costs for accommodation will be deducted as cancellation fee.
- In case of cancellation by the participant less than 2 weeks before the start of the festival, 80% of the participation fee and 80% of the costs for accommodation will be deducted as cancellation fee.
- In case of cancellation after the start of the event, we cannot refund any contributions paid.
- If a same-sex substitute participant is provided to take the place, only a processing fee of 50 € will be charged, regardless of the time of cancellation.
- The organizer reserves the right to cancel events, for example due to a lack of sufficient participants or due to force majeure. Already paid participation fees will be refunded without deduction. Any other claim for damages is excluded.
§ 5 Data protection

- With your binding event registration, you consent to the processing of your personal data for the purpose of holding the event.
In accordance with Art. 13 of the EU Data Protection Basic Regulation (EU-DSGVO), we will be pleased to inform you in detail about the processing of your personal data (hereinafter only referred to as "data"). The EU-DSGVO imposes some meaningful obligations on us in order to ensure the protection of your data during processing. In the following we explain which data we process from you for which purposes and which rights you have in this regard.
- Purposes of processing
We process your data according to article 6 paragraph 1 lit. a) of the EU-DSGVO on the basis of your consent by the binding registration for the event:
Invoicing (name, first name, address)
If necessary, preparation of certificates of participation (surname, first name)
- Duration of processing
We process your data only as long as it is necessary for the planning and concluding execution of the event or due to valid legal regulations, e.g. the storage obligation of invoice documents. Should you wish your data to be deleted, we will delete your data immediately, unless there are legal obligations to retain it.

§ 6 Copyright
- All contents created within the scope of our events are protected by copyright. The participants are exclusively granted a simple, non-transferable right of use for personal use. In particular, the participants and third parties are not permitted to change the content or editorial content of this information - even in extracts - or to use modified versions, to copy it for third parties, to make it publicly accessible or forward it, to post it on the Internet or other networks, to resell it or to use it for commercial purposes, either against payment or free of charge. Any copyright notices, marks or trademarks may not be removed.
- Film and sound recordings as well as photographs are permitted to a reasonable extent for private purposes, taking into account the rights of third parties.
§ 7 Photo and film recordings
- TangoSafari e.V. events may include photo, sound and film recordings that are published in various online and offline media. These recordings are connected with the visual representation of present persons, whereby the selection of persons takes place randomly. A representation of the pictures takes place on the homepage, print media and social media channels of the organizer. This also applies to events offered in cooperation with third parties.
- By entering the event area, the participants consent to the free publication in the above manner and distribution and/or temporally unlimited storage and accessibility of the recorded image, sound and film material in the context of the public relations work of the organizer. The personal rights shall remain protected in all cases.
- If a participant does not agree with the publication of his person in an individual case, we ask you to inform those responsible for the events directly.
§ 8 Severability clause
- The invalidity of any provision of these terms and conditions shall not affect the validity of the remaining provisions.
