Most Tango festivals and Tango junkets are limited to workshops and Milongas; there is never really enough space or time for everyone to enjoy free training sessions together or to just spend time together and to get to know one another on a more varied basis. As is the case with all of our Safaris, we want to make a journey of discovery; we explore both dance and our bodies. In doing so we combine Tango with methods of working with the body that share the same spiritual emphasis and which quicken our spirit of discovery. Workshops, practical tutorials, Milongas as well as space made available for daily training and social intercourse have the same priority as breakfasting together, playing volleyball, or simply just chilling out. In addition to a wide range of workshops and exciting recreational activities, all participants are invited to come up with their own ideas for enriching our journey of discovery.
The Tango Safaris are put together as non-profit events because we are more interested in promulgating Tango dancing in our society and therefore try to make possible the participation of even those who are not financially well off.
We will be pleased to see a readiness on your part to lend a hand when necessary as your contribution to holding the costs down as much as possible.
